OK, this carnelian and other carnelian like it, this deep orange, is probably dyed agate from Brazil. So I was told many years ago. Under an electron microscope it probably looks the same. Like Ryan Seacrest and Ruben Studdard from space. 15 - 16 inch strands, temporarily strung (no clasps).
