Fossil beads are dyed limestone (I think) thus the limestone label. These are a thing of the past, who wants to make a quarter a strand anymore? These are as dyed as beads can be. The colors may vary from strand to strand.
I've not been able to get these for half a year or more. Mother earth may have given up her last fossil beads. We've hit and passed peak fossil bead. They get the Seal (not a rat) of Poor Quality because they are so dyed.
