These beads are on 15 - 16 inch strands, temporarily strung, usually on monofilament (fishline).
The holes are relatively small, about 1mm. You won't be putting leather through them.
Donuts are passe. Once they were not.
Luckily I stocked up back then, in the early part of the decade.
