These beads, about 20, are on 15 - 16 inch strands, temporarily strung, usually on monofilament (plastic fishline).
The holes are relatively small, about 1mm. You won't be putting leather through them. They are drilled top to bottom.
20mm may actually be 18mm. Some days it appears that all the 20mm hearts are fished out.
