The "tree" is a 3-D structure blown right inside the ball! There's a glass loop on top for hanging. Each ball is unique, so you're choosing a style, not an exact duplicate. There's about a 5mm hole near the top of the ball where presumably little hands reached into the ball to assemble the tree. Chinese! Before we put them up in our store we rinse them out, they are cloudy from their long sea voyage. There are 48 in a case. We can fit 6 in a regional postal flat rate box. It costs about $65 to ship a case to Quebec from Vermont via UPS. These are fairly rugged and generally ship well. The shipping cost can vary. A flat rate box of 6 to California costs about $19.
