I recently bought 15,000 strands of Chinese turquoise of the green variety.
That makes me TTKV.  But what does that mean anymore?

These beads won't be, don't want to be, the beautiful stabilized blues
that come out of China, the ones that look like dyed howlite.
Some individual beads will be brown, some will have brown in them. That's the matrix,
the stone the turquoise came in.
