On
pages 2-8 1/2 of this catalogue, you will find dozens of strands of semi-precious
beads. Unless otherwise noted, these strands are 15-16 inches long, unclasped
and temporarily strung on monofilament (clear fishline). You may combine
the strands of beads on these six and a half pages to get the price break.
For instance, five strands of 6mm poppy and five strands of fluorite 4mm
would give you the pricebreak for 10 strands (the second column) because
you bought 10 strands total.
You would pay the price in the second column for each strand.
Buy 25 strands and you will get the applicable price in the third column
and so on.
Shockingly, some of the stones are dyed or treated to change or enhance
their beauty.
Most of them are cut in Hong Kong (Red China) and a bit north of Hong
Kong (Red China).
Don't let this alarm you. Unlike the Cubans, they pose no threat to us.
We think our quality is as good or better than you will find without sending
out a search party.

dyed agate.
Just the name "turquoise" attached to a stone makes

The brown
jasper we have is not as pretty as the one you see scanned.
We're proud of that one, apparently the best in the litter, but
your beads on arrival may be more,
how should I say it? ...brown.
But not to disparage brown, for without brown we wouldn't have
its complementary color -- brownish.
