Nifty
Pliers
Roundnose or Flatnose
They are nifty because it is nifty that we can sell them so cheap.
We sell thousands of these
every year but, although they do not warrant a Seal of Poor Quality
(The Industry Substandard), you should know that these aren't
quite "right."
Call them the Jessica Simpsons of pliers. |

Usually
Made in China!
A friend told me that some Pakistanis were making pliers for
him and asked him which country of origin he wanted stamped
on them.
"Oy!"
(For you Gentiles, "Oy!" is Yiddish for "Jesus!")

A smallish plier, sizewize same as the Nifty.
but soft, smooth and silky,
so efficient to be thought of as dainty.
German dainty.
You know what I mean.
I once had an apartment mate, not a
sane apartment mate,
whose chief complaint about me was that I was never there for him
when he was working on his perpetual motion machines.
These are so silky smooth that when Bob (oops, did I use his real
name?) does finish his work in the field and the PM machines are
miniaturized, you'll be able to install them in these pliers
and work forever. That smooth. That awesome, that sweet, that depressing.
They'll write a book, make a movie, "Sweatshop on Main Street."
A song, too. A country song.
"I Thought I'd Died and Gone to Workaholic Heaven
but I was Just Gettin' off Break."

Crimping Pliers |
|
|
|
|
Frustrated and angry
and you don't know why?
Maybe it's your crimps.
|
Your tool will be five
inches from head to toe of old-fashioned hell on wheels crimping
action.
"Turn off that TV, turn down the radio, we're goin' power
stringin' tonight!" |

Knotcutters
|
|
|
|
|
Ideal for cutting thread,
fine wire, softer materials.
"Very sharp!" cries out my
thumb. Not an overly rugged tool
and so easy to use that even Maynard G. Krebs
would hardly screech "Work!" when
confronted with its use.
5 inches from tip to toe
