Our malachite-azurite was probably a reconstituted stone.
Means they've taken some chips and shavings and gooed it back together.
It has that blue and green "Earth from a million miles away" look.
St. Ciarre is the patron saint of TV.
I have her statue right here. She helps my team win when I watch the game on TV.

The sales manager of an Indian company I've been doing business with for ten years "stopped by" to see if I needed anything.
You don't say no to these guys. They wear you down.
Chatting with him as he was cleaning up his stuff, my son asked him how many employees he has in India.
Said he, "We employ 1,000, we work them like they were 2,000 and we pay them as though they were 500."
Sounds like a joke I would make. But was it a joke?

Moonstone
Unless you love moonstone and what it can do for you, stay away from ours. We carry a lower caste. It may be poorly drilled, poorly shaped and vary in color. It looks like they got kids to do it. But don't take my word for it. Buy a few strands and see for yourself and then return them. Besides the beauty of the stone itself, apart from its daft cutting, it is absolutely guaranteed that it is said to enhance intuitive sensitivity and, among other things, help all of us be more comfortable with our gentler, feminine, receiving side.

Peking onyx is a usually-shiny-bluish-green-with-white stone that is usually shipped to us as amazonite.
It isn't and I made the name up.
We're also calling this Fauxzonite. That's Faux as in faux, zon as in zon and ite as in ite. Fauxzonite. Like Fabio, it's Latin.
Actually, our friend the Old Prospector, who knows most of what there is to know about rocks and stones, says it's probably Peruvian Opal.

Some of our rhodonite will be pink with black inclusions and some will be straight pink.
We have no control over that so neither do you.
It's like the Army all over again, init?

sometimes it is dominated by black,
sometimes it is a fuzzy pink,

We bet your rose quartz is, may be, could be, dyed.
Either way it will eventually FADE in the sun. It's a UV, X-Ray, Sunray thing.
Blame Her. That's the way She (Mother Nature) made it.
