The pearls are on 15 - 16 inch strands, temporarily strung, usually on string. Except for the Large-Holed Freshwater Pearls, you can bet that the pearls have small holes. Some of the whites, maybe the pinks, and a few other mystery colors may be natural. The dyed pearls are sometimes subtle, sometimes garish and overdone. Will the dye run? Possibly, but no more than the dye on the pearls from "the others." Usually we buy miscellaneous pearls by weight, say 200 kilos, so it can be hard to duplicate a pearl once we run out.
Combine all the individual strands of pearls (mixes not included) to get the pricebreaks.
