Fossil beads are dyed limestone (I think) thus the limestone label. These are a thing of the past, who wants to make a quarter a strand anymore? These are as dyed as beads can be. The dye may come off. The colors may vary from strand to strand.
These are becoming rare. Mother Earth may have given up her last fossil beads. We've hit and passed peak fossil bead.
