Each fossil is half of an ammonite, flat and highly polished on the front, rounded and lightly polished on the back. Each ammonite is approximately 3/4" to 1.25". Still a fossil so yours may have some rough spots. They stopped making these a few hundred million years ago so I can't return them to the manufacturer.
