It's usually not really hematite. More like hemalike or hematine. Who can tell the difference? 15 - 16 inch strands, temporarily strung (no clasp). These have slightly larger holes than usual, about 2mm. A problem for some in the beading community. A gift for others. Kind of like a kitten with big wide eyes whose eyes never go back to normal.
